Also from Bologna, Skiantos gave punk an interesting twist:
On April 2, 1979 they participated to Bologna Rock, a punk rock and new wave festival, and their performance caused a lot of buzz. Skiantos brought on stage a kitchen, a table, a TV and a fridge, put to boil the spaghetti and then ate them, without playing anything; the audience protested, and Antoni responded "You do not understand a fucking thing: this is avant-garde, you piece-of-shit audience."

Skiantos somehow demistified music and started thread that continues in Italy to this day. Elio e le Storie Tese are probably the most famous, and are also extremely talented musicians.
